Carmel Village Foster City Homes and Neighborhood Guide
Also known as Neighborhood 3,Fish (street name theme)
Foster City neighborhood guide
Carmel Village is one of Foster City's original master planned neighborhoods, set between the bay shoreline and a lagoon channel on the city's east side.
Its streets are named for fish, like Marlin Avenue, Tarpon Street, Swordfish Street, Halibut Street and Shad Court. Bowditch Middle School sits on Tarpon Street, right in the neighborhood.
Four small parks, a sandy beach on the channel and quick access to the Bay Trail give it an easygoing, outdoorsy feel.
