Loyola Corners Homes and Neighborhood Guide
Los Altos neighborhood guide
Loyola Corners is named for a Southern Pacific stop that served a planned Jesuit college named for St. Ignatius of Loyola. The college was never built, but the name stuck to the small business district where Fremont Avenue, Miramonte Avenue and Foothill Expressway meet.
Single story ranch homes on quarter acre lots surround the shops, with McKenzie Park and Marymeade Park nearby and Loyola Elementary a short walk away. It is one of the quieter corners of south Los Altos.
