As a first time home buyer, I recently had the good fortune of working with Joe. I genuinely enjoyed my experience thanks to the great service he provided to us. As an agent, Joe is great: he's great to work with and he really knows his stuff. Joe is passionate, good natured, and enthusiastic - it was always a positive experience working with him. But even beyond that, Joe really cares about finding great deals and opportunities for his clients; he would often give us really insightful opinions about what was good/bad about a given location. Like I mentioned, this was the first time I went through this home buying process (as it will be for many, I assume). And with that comes a lot of (1) questions, (2) not knowing what to look for, and (3) the thought that you may get taken advantage of. Joe really helped in all three of these areas. 1) He was always happy to dive into any question, and provided great explanations for what mattered and why. The guy is passionate and it shows. 2) He would, on his own, dig deep into disclosures to flag potential issues - even going so far as checking out listings on his own in person to see issues that may not have shown up on the reports or pictures. 3) He really looked out for our benefit! When it came time for us to make an offer (that we eventually closed on), after being outbid a few times we were prepared to bid against ourselves with a higher starting offer just for a better chance of closing. This would have been a positive for Joe - he would have made more on commission and it would have increased the likelihood of a sale. But to his immense credit, he encouraged us to offer a value that was much more reasonable. This saved us money and made less of a commission for him - but it really speaks to his integrity. My only regret on closing on this home is that I won't have the opportunity to work with Joe again in the near future. I strongly recommend him.

Joseph came highly recommended by a good friend, and we're very glad we had the opportunity to work with him to purchase a single-family home on the Peninsula. We were first time home buyers and Joseph was super patient and informative in guiding us through the process - from knowing what to look out for in open houses, reading disclosures, and putting in offers in a competitive market. He knows the Peninsula very well and can speak to if a street is busy, or if there is a school nearby, or the quality of the neighborhood. He also works super hard - is super responsive at all hours and willing to get on the phone or meet in person anytime. He even checked out a few properties for us ahead of time so that we could decide if we should add it to our open house schedule for the weekend.
