Suburban Park was built in the late 1940s, and its roughly 244 homes are mostly modest single story ranch houses on streets like Hedge Road and Sheridan Drive. Lorelei Manor followed in the 1950s, with fewer than 100 homes along four streets, including Lorelei Lane. Typical lots run around 6,000 square feet.
Many original homes have been remodeled or expanded, and newer two story rebuilds now sit alongside the classic ranches. Mature oaks and bay trees line many of the streets.
